For some news: I met a lot of new friends this school year. 2008 is the start of everything. Just like how the mid of being 19 is.

On other news: Listening to new-found bands: The Postal Service and Rilo Kiley at most. I love them. And Zooey is engaged to Ben Gibbard which is OMG. I love the both of them. Still cant get over, its been months.

"Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it, you can never get it back."

For some reason, DA started working again. For the past month(s) it's been screwed up in my computer. Anyways,

What has been happenning:
Life presently revolves around finishing thesis, not doing thesis, and anything that spells T-H-E-S-I-S. so with the topic.

I don't know what is the big deal about it really. It is not the measure of how talented you are, or how good you are in the field of advertising (or fine arts). Many get a 1.75 and doesn't know how to draw (presuming) and there are some who get a 3.0 even if they're the best illustrators in the batch (fact). So what makes this "academic exercise" deemingly important? What is its value to a college student like me?

For a person like whose goal doesn't lie on getting a well-paying job (because i want to work on a non-government organization or volunteer works) it has no importance of sorts except for the fact that it is a requirement in order to graduate. And still, I waste all my time and effort in creating and understanding my topic, sacrificing all the things I love doing for something that is irrelevant in the future. Why in the world am I exerting all effort in making this as good as it can be?

Probably because i still have that conformist idea. Of following, and exerting your all, of sacrifice in the name of a greater good. Even if it means forgetting about what you really want to do. And I say to myself: That there is time for everything, and that personal goals have to wait.

But a writer states that:
It is absurd that people put off doing the most interesting things in life until they no longer have the strength to do them.
